Project Overview

As-built acquisition and Digital Twin creation of the historic center of the main village and its three secondary hamlets, aimed at supporting urban regeneration strategies for public spaces and historical urban environments.

The project involved large-scale integrated reality capture activities through photogrammetry, laser scanning, and topographic methodologies to generate a highly accurate and georeferenced digital representation of the urban fabric, architectural heritage, streets, squares, façades, and public infrastructure systems.

The generated datasets enabled the creation of a scalable Digital Twin environment intended to support urban planning, conservation activities, public space redesign, accessibility improvement, infrastructure coordination, and future redevelopment interventions.

Particular attention was dedicated to the digitalization of historical architectural elements and the interaction between the built environment, public spaces, and mobility systems within the historical settlement structure.

The integrated workflow allowed the generation of measurable orthophotos of façades and urban fronts, high-density point clouds, and detailed urban CAD layouts suitable for multidisciplinary technical analysis and planning activities.

Topographic support activities ensured accurate georeferencing of all digital models and datasets within coordinated reference systems, enabling future integration with GIS platforms, BIM environments, smart city systems, and municipal asset management workflows.

The resulting Digital Twin provides a centralized and continuously updatable digital environment to support public authorities, planners, engineers, architects, and cultural heritage stakeholders in the long-term management and enhancement of the urban context.
