Diga di ridracoli
Project Overview
Survey of the Ridracoli Dam: comparative analysis between UAV photogrammetry and traditional topographic techniques for the inspection of vertical structures, carried out under the supervision of the University of Perugia.
The project was aimed at evaluating the reliability, accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalability of advanced drone-based survey methodologies in comparison with conventional inspection and topographic acquisition techniques.
Particular attention was dedicated to the potential use of UAV technologies for monitoring large hydraulic infrastructures, reducing operator exposure in critical environments, optimizing inspection times, and supporting predictive maintenance and structural assessment workflows through high-density digital datasets.
